Hon. Ani’s appointment is in line with the directive of the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whose administration has continued to emphasize people-oriented governance and sustainable development, especially at the grassroots.
The new CSDA boss was cheerfully welcomed by the former Acting General Manager, Mrs. Ugochukwu Okechukwu, alongside members of staff who expressed optimism about a new era of growth and productivity within the agency. Speaking shortly after assuming office, Hon. Monday Diamond Ani assured that he would not fall short of the Governor’s expectations. Ani, who holds advanced degrees in Public Administration and Local Government Studies, emphasized that his academic background and professional experience have adequately prepared him for the task ahead. He reaffirmed his commitment to transparency, efficiency, and community-driven development initiatives that align with the vision of the Mbah administration. He also expressed profound gratitude to Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for the confidence reposed in him, describing the appointment as a call to service. “I am deeply grateful to His Excellency for trusting me with this sensitive and very important position. I promise not to disappoint the Governor or the good people of Enugu State,” he assured. With his assumption of office, expectations are high that the Enugu State CSDA will witness renewed momentum in community and social development projects across the state, particularly in underserved and rural areas.
